Wells & Co.
Charles Wells sold its Bedford based brewery and most of its beer brands to Marston's in May 2017 so that they could concentrate on more crafted beers for their 200 pubs. I was asked to develop a brand to signal this exciting new chapter in their long history.
I held multiple workshops with key stakeholders and staff, made site visits to various pub types in their estate and talked to customers about what they loved about their boozer and the beers. This was all distilled down to define their vision and values and communicated back to them to get buy-in across the organisation. Participation was key to developing this brand.
